– “How do I get my driver's license?”

First you have to register at a driving school. Then do your eye test and first aid course. Take part in theory lessons and learn to drive in practice. Submit your documents to the responsible office. Pass the theory test and then the practical test. You will then receive your driver's license.

The checklist helps you not to forget any documents. You need an eye test certificate, the certificate of the first aid course, your passport picture, the confirmation of registration from your driving school, your ID card or passport.

Your eyesight is checked during the eye test. This is where you decide whether you need glasses to participate in traffic or not. In the first aid course you will learn all measures to help others in an emergency.

In theory lessons you will be prepared for the exam and your first driving lesson. Usually you need 2 to 4 weeks.

Learn to drive in practice. On average, you need 20 to 25 hours of driving practice to be fit for the practical driving test. But it can also be over 30, or even only 10-15 driving practice hours.

How many driving hours you need depends on your learning success. But you have to complete the 12 compulsory trips. These include 3 night, 5 overland and 4 freeway journeys.

So that’s all? Pretty much, but there are something more you need to know to speed up the whole process of getting a license.

Getting your car license takes a long time and is very expensive. We tend to postpone these uncomfortable plans and postpone them later. There are really good reasons to start right away.

Now it learns best  – as long as you are young, it learns much easier. Students between the ages of 18 and 34 have a much greater chance of success in passing their driving license than anyone over the age of 30.

Now is the best time  – attending driving school will not be as easy as now. After school, overtime at work or children can get messy to take theory lessons and driving lessons. Driving schools are no longer getting cheaper either. The price of your car license will continue to rise.

Even if you live in the city, it is never wrong to learn to drive. No matter if you move, want to go on an excursion or maybe want to live in the country. You need a driver's license for many good jobs. And what is nicer than a road trip on vacation?

Cuz as mentioned, the younger you are, the more likely are the chances of getting the driving test done with a lower costs on the examination and related fee.
